1950’s Royal Air Force Escape Boots. Very Rare. 1952 pattern.

Classic early 1950’s ‘escape’ boot based on the earlier 1943 pattern.  It has a standard oxford shoe at the bottom with an unlined polished leather upper section that could be removed by a knife if shot down over enemy territory.  Labelled with stores reference and size marks.  In service throughout the 1950’s and until the mid 1960’s.
